Oracle System Account is Locked

System account is the account that has the highest access to the database. It’s similar with root account in Linux. Usually, the locked account is unlocked by System. But, what will you do if System account is locked? Who can unlock this? Follow this step by step tips :):
- Â Open Enterprise Manager by typing http://localhost:5500/em on your browser. 5500 is default port for the first database. If you has second database, the port will be 5501, and 5502 for third database, and so on
- Login with Sys account. Its password is usually same as System password
- Select Login as Sysdba
- Unlock System account like you unlock another user.
Sys is an account can access the database as administrator too. So, it can unlock the locked System. Just try it!
