Community website as we all know is very popular. The objective of the site is to keep users keep in touch with each other and getting new friends. This kind of website is so popular, community websites like Friendster has hundreds of thousands active users from all over the globe. With so many users visiting Friendster everyday it’s no wonder that advertisers will be willing to spend a lot of money to advertise their products or services through Friendster, and thus creating a big source of income.
Like many major successful stories, people will tend to look at them and try to imitate it, with hoping to gain success as well. 3GB is one of those examples. 3GB is a community website from Arab-speaking country (I don’t know for sure), which provides basic community function just like Friendster, like adding friends to your buddy list, add testimonials about you, upload images, and integrated blog.

I haven’t tested the MP3 section, because my internet connection is to slow, but I think is more of an internet radio than MP3 players, it seems you can’t listen to your favorite .But there is some added feature like radio and chat
Chatting Window
The picture above is the chatting window, you can access them from your dashboard’s chat button. As you can see that there are some Arabic words there which I don’t understand, maybe it’s the moderator. The chat room is empty, because the website itself still got about hundreds of member which is not so many.
The next thing is I tried to look at the most popular member profiles, Nosha’s profile.

I felt familiar with this kind of layout, it’s like the earlier version of Friendster. Primary photos? Checked, Personal Information? Checked but not so detailed and more personal than other community sites, Friends List? Checked, Comments? Checked.

It seems this guy is experiencing difficulties operating this site, as well as I was, it’ll goes by if I had already got used to it.
There are some glitches in this website as well when I tried to open other’s blog, every time I tried to open it, the browser always took me to the error page. Maybe it’s a database error that doesn’t link properly.
Although this community site is still imperfect it does offers new ideas like internet radio and chat rooms. There are still little who have joined the site too, but that could change over time with more people interested to join 3gb community 3gb.biz. Go to their site at 3GB.biz to find out more.
