Wordpress 2.6: Turbo!

This is the most interesting part when I upgraded to Wordpress 2.6. I like the “turbo” when the google gear cached and made my WP administration damn fast.

I love this turbo thing. I’d like to hear your thoughts, are you already upgrade to Wordpress 2.6? or not yet? What is the reason? Comment below. :)

    Interesting stuff I found:

    From the EULA:
5.5 You agree that if you use Gears to develop a service for other users, you will protect the privacy and legal rights of those users…

I wonder how that will be enforced

And here is a good place to start for curious folks:

And for those interested in using it on other projects:

I have upgraded my blog to WP 2.6 but I still can’t use google gears since I usually use Portable Firefox for Windows. I’m still trying to find the .xpi version (is there any ?)

If you’re using Wordpress dot com, you can’t do that. but if you self host your wordpress (you can download it at wordpress.com/latest.zip) and upload it to your webserver. You can do that.
