Blaze Media Pro, is a MOV converter, video encoder and audio converter. With those ability, Blaze is all-in-one solution for edit and convert audio video files. Blaze Media Pro supported to convert many audio and video formats. This software also can be used to record DRM protected WMA files as they play in Windows Media Player. For video editing, you can capture from TV tuner cards, FireWire cameras, USB/USB2 cameras, PCI and PC-Card grabbers, and DV (digital video) devices. The video capture feature can save video to .AVI and .WMV formats.

This damn interesting software also allow us to capture single frame images, apply graphic and text overlays, pause/resume during video capture operations. Blaze Media Pro also can rip video/audio content from DVD, and another feature is you can burn ISO files into CD or DVD. For $50 you like buying “Nero”, “Video to Flash Converter”, “Riva FLV Encoder”, “Audio Pro Tools”, “Winamp”, “DVD Ripper”, “Ashampo MP3 Audio Center”, etc. at once.

Installation

The installation is very easy. I just need to execute the demo file that size is 18.9 MB. You will be brought to step-by-step user friendly installation, I think you will not get any trouble when installing this software.

Appearance

The appearance is simple, like in Winamp, there is a window for playback audio complete with the navigation button. Under the playback button is a list of song. You can add or customize your song in here.

The primary menu is on the right side. You can convert audio, edit video, make video or burn CD/DVD through this menu.

All in one Audio Video Converter and Editing

Blaze Media Pro is all-in-one audio video converter and editing. It includes an audio and video converter, audio editing, and video editing, video capture, audio recorder, data CD/DVD burner, audio CD burner, video CD (VCD/SVCD) burner, audio copy, add effect, media management, make playlist and full screen video support. Now, let’s take a walk to those menus.

Convert Audio

When you click this menu, you can choose between CD Track(s) and Convert and Compress Audio. If you want to convert from CD Audio, choose the first option, but if you want to convert audio that is stored in your disk, then choose the second one. This is what Blaze Media Pro supported to convert:

§ WMA to WAV, MP3, OGG

§ OGG to MP3, WAV, WMA

I try to convert audio from my CD Audio to MP3, and it takes 15 minutes to convert all 10 songs in the CD. This image show what it appears when I choose CD Track(s) menu.

Edit Audio

You can edit MP3, WMA, WAV, AC3, AAC, CDA, FLAC, AIFF, ALAC and OGG files in here. Cut the audio, mixing, increase the frequency or tempo, add some effect such as flanger, chorus, echo, distortion, etc. You also can use Filter to remove noise. There are 3 kinds of filter in this software, Low Pass Filter, High Pass Filter and Band Pass Filter. It’s important to remember, that more Filtering you apply to your audio, you can reduce more noises but will make the sound becomes unnatural or strange.

Convert Video

You can convert video file such as AVI, MPG, or WMV. Here is what you can do to convert the video file into (note that MPG means MPEG-1 and MPEG-2):

§ AVI to MPG, WMV

§ MPG to AVI, WMV

§ WMV t o AVI, MPG

§ MPEG-1 to MPEG-2 and MPEG-2 to MPEG-1

§ 3GP to AVI, MPG, WMV

For flash file, you can choose between .flv or .swf outputs. I try to convert .wmv file which size is 2,794KB to .flv and It takes 9 seconds to finished.

Edit Video

Use Video Editor to edit your video, just like in Windows Movie Maker. You can use to crop frames, mix, add, mirror, flip, trim and add some effect. Blaze Media Pro also has capability to extract audio/sound or background music from video files, such as MPG (MPEG-1 and MPEG-2), AVI, and WMV). Batch extraction support is available for AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and WMV using the software’s Extract Audio Content feature.

If you point your cursor, there is no balloon message that will help you to recognize the usage of the menu.
