How To Operate CD / DVD Drives Using Keyboard Shortcuts
Now, there is no need to stretch your hand to open and close your drive when it is placed away from you. To operate CD / DVD drives you can use simple keyboard shortcuts. Using these shortcuts you will surely complete your work in pretty easier and faster way.
To enable the keyboard shortcut for operating the drives easily, just follow the steps given below.
- Download the tooler application by clicking here.
- Just start tooler program. Create shortcuts for CD/DVD drives to eject and close.
- Now, right click on the created shortcut. Go to properties in context menu. Find out the option named as ‘Shortcut’ key.
- Assign any one keyboard shortcut. For example assign Ctrl+F9 to Eject.
- Repeat the same process to create the shortcut to load the drive. Assign a keyboard shortcut to anything you want. For example Ctrl+F10.
- That’s all. Now eject the drive by just pressing Ctrl+F9 and load it by pressing Ctrl+F10.
