- Download files for HD Videos to your computer
- Install Open SSH on your device from Cydia
- Plug your iPhone 3GS to your computer and ensure that iTunes is not running.
- Download and install WinSCP for windows and Cyberduck for Mac
- Cyberduck Settings
- Server: here you have to mention network name of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. Navigate to Settings>> Wi-Fi>> <Network Name>
- Username: root
- Password: the SSH password
- Protocol: SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol)
- WinSCP Settings
- Hostname: navigate to Settings>>Wi-Fi>><Current Network Name> to put the IP address of the iDevice.
- Username: root
- Password: alpine
- Protocol: SCP
Steps:
- Navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/ directory and copy N88AP.plist file from the earlier downloaded HD video files and paste that file into the navigated folder.
- Go to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Celestial.framework/N88/ directory and copy AVCapture.plist, CameraRollValidator.plist and MediaValidator.plist from the previously downloaded HD video files and paste into the navigated folder.
- Restart your iPhone 3GS and you will be enable to have experience of HD video recording on your device without upgrading to next version.
