How to Convert Windows XP/Vista Taskbar into Windows 7 Taskbar

Many windows vista users want to change its taskbar into windows 7 taskbar because of its unique feature to pin application in the taskbar. It enables users to open application instantly.  Follow these steps to change windows vista taskbar into windows 7 taskbar:

  1. Right click on taskbar and you will get context menu appears on screen.
  2. Select ‘Quick Launch’ from ‘Toolbars’ option.
  3. Now you can pin the application on your taskbar through drag and drop technique.
  4. If application does not appear, again right click on taskbar and choose ‘Lock the Taskbar’.
  5. Click on 3 rows of dots, drag and drop it in your right side of taskbar. Now you can see your icons over there.

 

However if it still it does not look like windows 7 taskbar, then you can follow below steps again:

  1. Your taskbar must be unlocked still.
  2. Now click on taskbar and navigate ‘View’>> ‘Large Icons’.
