Two researchers who have been working on visualizing mobile data have uncovered this news and for people who don’t believe the news, they have gone ahead to create an app which can help you see the secret file stored on the iPhone. The secret file is present on any iPhone or any PC on which the iPhone data is been backed up.

Unless the backups are encrypted, this secret file can easily be accessed. However, one good thing is that, this secret file is not shared with Apple or any other program. Though Apple has not commented on this issue, researchers feel that the cookie trail file might be kept for some feature to be introduced in future.
