Recently, the latest version Redsn0w as Redsn0w 0.9.7 b6 has been released by Dev Team and it is now available to download. Redsn0w 0.9.7 b6 is able to fix some of the issues related to Skype and the untethered jailbreak process for iOS 4.2.1. This version of Redsn0w should only be used by testers and available for only Mac OS X users. Redsn0w 0.9.7 for Windows OS will be launching shortly. As per the announcement of Dev Team, in the next version, they would port Monte to iOS 4.1 so that every other problem will be automatically solved.

Testers only are recommended to use the sixth beta version of Redsn0w. All the problems related to Skype would be fixed by this version successfully. As expected from the beginning, the Skype issue is appearing like an unrelated thing to sandbox patches. Please do not try to pirate the 4.2b3 IPSW. Legally, the individuals only enrolled with an iPhone Developer program can access IPSW.
Now, you could freely run beta6 on beta5 and this is such a great feature. However, in the testing stage you would try it in both ways such as from stock and from already jailbroken. While to fix Skype problems, if you are already using untethered beta5, then you just have to run beta6. Remember to deselect each and every checkbox while doing so.
Now, all the issues such as Bluetooth, Skype and sandbox will be fixed. Recently, they are planning to port Monte back to 4.1. The Redsn0w 0.9.7b6 version with average speed will be released for Windows OS shortly.
