Simple Methods to Recover BIOS/CMOS Password
Read this post if you’ve forgotten your Windows XP admin password.
Now, below is the method to remove BIOS password:
- You will see a small battery is present on your motherboard (this is called as the CMOS battery). Remove it.
- Now, turn on your computer without this battery.
- The password of the BIOS will be reset.
- All changed setting for bios and computer time will now set to default.
- Turn off your computer now.
- Insert the battery on motherboard.
You can also use password recovery tools for BIOS such as Pc CMOS cleaner. This file is available in .iso file format. You have to burn this file to a disc and then boot from it. When system boots up, BIOS password will be automatically recovered.
On other hand, using of tools like! BIOS can cause some errors to your system.
