Steps to Speed Up Windows 7 Performance by 2X

Currently almost all computers getting launched in the market having minimum 2GB RAM. It is really important to keep upgrading your RAM memory in order to speed up operating system responses and performances. The Windows 7 is a very efficient operating system which is used by many users these days.

 

 

However windows use only specific amount of memory, even you have installed more memory on your system. If computer uses maximum memory to response properly, then you will get high performance.  Therefore, we have posted a trick that will make usages of RAM double by Windows operating system. You will get more responsive and faster Windows operating system by doubling its usages of RAM.

  1. Initially click on the start and type “cmd” in order to open “command prompt”.
  2. By right clicking on cmd icon select “Run as Administrator”.
  3. Now type the following command in open command prompt box:

 

 fsutil behavior set memoryusage 2

  1. Reboot windows 7
  2. By following these previous steps you will get current value:

fsutil behavior query memoryusage

Note: Make sure that you have quite adequate RAM, which is minimum 2GB and the maximum depends solely upon your needs, before starting this tweak.  Also check other techneques to make Windows 7 perform faster
