Steps to Update Nexus One FRF85B to FRF91 Manually
The latest android 2.2 froyo FRF91 update for Nexus one has been released in the market and several users get updated their Nexus. Now you would also think of updating your Nexus one to android 2.2 FRF91, and so this is a guide to help you in updating. All you’ll have to do just follow the instructions systematically.
Note: This tutorial is for updating Nexus One older version of android 2.2 FRF85B to android FRF91. Instructions to Update Nexus One to FRF91
- Initially, Download Android 2.2 FRF91 file.
- Rename the Downloaded file to “Update.zip”.
- Connect Nexus One to computer and mount SD card.
- Copy and paste Update.zip file to your SD card.
- By pressing trackball and power button go into recovery mode.
- Now select “Bootloader”.
- Select “Recovery” from the next display. Now you will be shown an android robot along with triangle exclamation sign on screen which means Nexus One is rebooting
- Now press and hold Power and Volume up button.
- Now select “Apply sdcard: update.zip” and wait until the process finishes.
