Update Your Nexus One By Installing Android 2.2
Few days ago Android 2.2 OS has been officially released for Google Nexus One. Some of the people already have hand on this latest released. You would definitely want to install Android 2.2 OS on your Nexus One. If you have any kind of confusion regarding installing android 2.2 OS on Nexus One, then read out the given instructions. You will definitely be able to do so after following the steps systematically.
Note: If you have not rooted Android 2.2 on Nexus One, then follow the below mentioned steps
“How to Root Android 2.2 on Nexus One”
- Initially, download Android 2.2 Update .zip file.
- Now rename it to “update.zip”.
- Connect SD card of your Nexus One to computer and copy “update.zip” file to root of the SD memory card.
- Switch off your device (Nexus One).
- Press and hold trackball and press Home Button once. Now Nexus One will boot displaying Android Robots on the screen
- Select “Bootloader” after then “Recovery”. Now your device will boot again showing exclamation sign along with Android robot.
- Press Power Button and volume increase button simultaneously.
- Then select the “Apply sdcard: update.zip” option with trackball.
- Once installation completes, restart your Nexus One.
- You are done. Now android 2.2 will be properly installed on Nexus One.
Note: Do remember that you don’t copy the update file to directory of SD card.
